Your first visit – What to expect
At your first Chiropractic visit, my goal is to make you feel welcomed, informed, and at ease.
The consultation generally takes between 45 to 60 minutes and I start with taking a comprehensive case history where we will discuss your health history, your current concerns, and any symptoms you are experiencing and that you are seeking Chiropractic care for.
This will then be followed by a thorough examination, including posture analysis, range of motion testing, neurological and orthopaedic assessments appropriate to your complaint which will help me ascertain the root cause of your symptoms.
Then using all of the information collected I will be able to provide you with a diagnosis, and we will go over the findings. From there I can make recommendations as to how to resolve your complaint. If Chiropractic is still suitable at this stage, I will outline a personalised care plan tailored to your specific needs and if it is your wish to do so, treatment can commence.
Should I feel that Chiropractic is not suitable for your needs I will refer you to the appropriate health care professional, for example your GP. If imaging is required, I will discuss the appropriate options for this, in order for you to make a choice.
Your comfort and understanding are my top priorities—so feel free to ask questions every step of the way!
